Setting Apart

Madi was set apart tonight as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She was blessed with the gift of tongues, the power of discernment and the ability to keep her enthusiasm throughout her mission.  She was also blessed to be protected both spiritually and physically if she kept the mission rules.

She was given some sound advice from our local leaders of the church that night.  Brother Drummond reminded her to "Be Bold and that mighty forces would be with her."  President Frank told her that he loved her enthusiasm in the Lord and that she could be like the missionary Ammon from the Book of Mormon with her light and desire to share the gospel.  He told her that his observation of her was that every time he met with her she had a glow and it showed through her smile.

Jaxson's tears that night couldn't be held back.  He was so sad when he realized that his sister was going to be gone for 18 months.  Because Jaxson started crying, Reagan joined in too.  I love seeing the love they have for their older sister; especially during this time as Madi has set such a great example for them both to follow.
