LAST WEEK IN THE CCM!
GUYS GUYS GUYS! It is my last week in the CCM! And tomorrow is my last day in class because Saturday and Sunday we just watch conference and study all day!! It'll be so nice! Then everybody except for me and Hermana Young leave early Monday morning so we just get to have an extra P day on Monday and then we leave bright and early Tuesday morning!! I will be serving the Lord's children in 5 days guys! 5 DAYS! I am freaking the freak out! I am so excited to get out there. I am running in full speed so hopefully my spanish catches up with me lol.
As excited as I am to be leaving, I am also sad because I have grown to love the CCM a lot. Me and my companion are super chill and I will miss her a lot. My district is like my best friends so I will miss all of them a lot too. And then I absolutely adore my teachers, especially hermana Gutierrez. They are so inspiring and loving and I will miss having them there to guide me every second of every day lol. I will miss my investigators too, even though they are not real, I have grown to love them. Hopefully that will only be magnified with the real ones in the field. I will miss the comfort of the CCM but at the same time I cannot wait for the adventure that is the mission field.
Mini miracles of the week: no broken watter bottles and the earthquake was far enough away that the alarm went off but we didn't feel it so all is well. Also all 3 of my roommates have gotten really sick but somehow I have not so #blessed.
List of things that have grown other than my ability to speak spanish during my time here:
-my love for latinos
-my volleyball skills
-my patience with frustrating people (still needs a lot of work though)
-my desire for Taco Bell
-my love for rain
-my appreciation of stickers
-my inability to speak English
fun fact: I have no idea to fit all of my stuff in my bags and not make them overweight so please send professional packers my way. Much appreciated.
