GATORS ON GATORS ON GATORS

hi friends!!

So this week was super awesome for investigators! Remember the book of mormon I placed on DAY 1? So her name was Yesenia and we had stopped by a couple times since then but with the fire and other stuff it kept not working out to get to really talk to her so this week we finally did! And she is super awesome! She wants to know if shes doing the right things and what her purpose here is and is just so ready and excited to keep meeting with us and i just love her!! (but also if anybody has any suggestions on how to talk about tattoos in a way that couldnt be taken offensively or has good quotes by al foxx or anything that would be super awesome)

also Salvador is our investigator with a baptismal date and we have had basdically all the lessons with him and we went over the baptismal interview questions with him and he said he believes the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church and he is so awesome and perfect except then he still didnt come to church and it broke all of our hearts because we dont know what else we can do to get him there but its okay. We will figure it out because he is awesome and wants to be baptized and i am just super excited for him!

speaking of church, we got out investigator, Manuel, to come to church and he brought his two sons and I think they really liked it and Im super hoping they come again next week. He just kept nodding the whole time and after said he really liked it and he met a ton of members who were all super nice to him and it was great! He got there just barely after the sacrament though so I am hoping that on Sunday he will come again and get to see that. Also he said he was going to start reading the Book of Mormon now so we are so excited for that!

We also found a family of 4 on Sunday who seem pretty interested so that will be amazing! Basically we are so so blessed with finding in this area and I am so grateful to God for all of these promising investigators.

Last night at dinner, Elder Alvaraz started teaching the restoration lesson to a dog and it was the most classic thing ever because for 5 minutes he was just chilling with this dog explainging the restoration and going through a slideshow.

So we get fed almost every night and on Friday we went to one of our favorite members' house, the Moldonado'sf. anyways he was passing around chili peppers and half of us ate one whole (not me) and then were dyingggg after because they were so hot and just chugging milk and it was really funny but also sad. anyways we are going back there tonight and I think they are going to make me eat one so everyone please pray for me!

The only sad part of the week is that this morning one of my companions, Hermana Godoy, got a call from President Wright and she is being emergency transfered tomorrow morning because a girl in the fairfield zone is going home and i am crying forever. So I am not going to be in a trio anymore which has its benefits but mostly I am just so sad and will miss her so much! But if that is where the Lord needs her to go, than that is what is best and me and Hermana Hansen will survive alone. I just dont know how I am going to learn spanish without a native speaker anymore because I am barely learning with one so again please pray for me hahaha.

Anyways I love you all soo so much and I pray for you all the time! I hope you have a wonderful week and find a reason to smile every day!!

love,
Hermana Galli

scripture of the week: Romans 8:35-39
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
