I LOVE SANTA ROSA
HEY GUYS!!
Hope everyone had a fantastic week!
We got transfer docs last night and me and hermana Hansen are both staying! YAY! I'm so grateful to get to have another transfer with her because she's the best! This upcoming transfer is only 5 weeks so it doesnt fall on Christmas so that will be weird. Also being in a trio for the past week has been a way fun time! Hermana Dent is really funny and just so fun to be around so it will be sad to see her go but it's good she will get to work more in her area again!
We had a baptism yesterday for our friend Agustin! He is hermana young and hermana Tew's investigator but he's best friends with all of us because he always comes to ward things and has us over for dinner every week and is so funny! So it was really exciting to see him get baptized because he was so happy! And hermana Hansen got to speak on the holy ghost and it was just awesome!
Speaking of baptisms, Salvadors baptism is this sunday!! WAHOO! And he asked me to speak so I'm giving a talk on baptism there (pray for me). I'm so excited for him! He just fits right in with the ward and is just so happy at church and I'm so happy for him!!
Are other investigators are doing good too. Guess how many we had at church? FIVE! We were so excited! Especially because we only had 3 total for the whole transfer up to that point so it was really exciting! Plus we got 2 to the baptism! Man God is so good! Also fasting works guys! I've never been very good at it until my mission but man, I have seen so many miracles in just the few opportunities I've had here so I encourage you next fast sunday (or any other day) to really ponder something you or somebody else needs and remember that purpose and ask for help and God will shower blessings upon you!
I tried a loco moco at this Hawaiian restaurant a member took us to and it's a fried egg on top of like a beef patty on rice with gravy and it sounds kinda weird, but it was super good and I would encourage anybody who happens upon a Hawaiian restaurant to try it! Yum!
My zone had a goal to get 42 new investigators this last week of the transfer and by Saturday night we had 45 and then on Sunday I believe it got up to 52 which is incredible! It just makes me so happy to think of how many people in just one week, in this one little area of California, have now had the opportunity to hear of the gospel experience true happiness! I love knowing that even though most of those new investigators won't be baptized, seed have been planted and one day they might be ready to learn what their heavenly Father can do for them and how the gospel blesses their family.
Hermana Hansen shared this talk by Jeffrey R. Holland called the Incovenient Messiah. Its found in the february 1984 ensign and if you habent read it, PLEASE do it! It is a really really cool perspective change about living the gospel and is a must read.
Lastly, my dad sent me this joke this morning and I thought it was really funny so here ya go:
Why do ducks have feathers?
To cover their butt quack 😂😂
Okay love you all muchÃsimo! Have a wonderful week!
love,

Scripture of the week: Jacob 2: 18-19 "But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God. And after ye have obtained a hope in Christ ye shall obtain riches, if ye seek them; and ye will seek them for the intent to do good—to clothe the naked, and to feed the hungry, and to liberate the captive, and administer relief to the sick and the afflicted."
1-zone conference
2-hermana Dent was closing her eyes and thought "man I really want water" and then she opened them to see this: Jesus POINTING AT WATER lol we died
