SISTER GALLI WEEKLY UPDATE

Hey friends!

So it hasn't been a super eventful week but we are still working hard! One super exciting thing: Salvador had his baptism interview and passed and is ready to be baptized on the 19th and I'm SO EXCITED!! I love him so much! He always just talks about how now that he knows the truth he just wants to share it with the people he loves but they don't want to listen and it breaks my heart but also makes me so happy that he just wants to be a missionary basically! Man he's perfect!

So we had zone conference this week which was cool. Me and hermana Hansen had to do an object lesson so we took two book of Mormons and had people list commandments as we kinda shuffled the pages so they were linked together if that makes sense. SO then after that you can't pull the books apart and we talked about how when we obey, our bond with God gets stronger and stronger and nothing can separate us. It was pretty coll even if the way I explained it here doesn't make much sense 😂

Hermana Lindsey is really sick so she has to go home in the morning so her companion, hermana Dent, is sticking with us for the last week of the transfer so I'm back to trio life!! Woo!

Guess what: McDonald's ran out of chicken nuggets so that was really sad but speaking of food, I've tried lots of new things this week! The best being caramel apple cider from Starbucks, the worst being coconut water or pineapple covered in chili powder (guess I'm not a real mexican) also hermana Hansen has now pegged the term "eggs hansen" because she hard boiled eggs but not long enough so the yolk was still runny so she put it on a frying pan and it was actually pretty good haha.

Miracle with Manuel: we've been wanting to get him a baptismal date but he's struggling with various things but in our last lesson, we get there and he told us he found out his mom has been taking the missionary lessons back in Mexico and has read the whole book of Mormon and received an answer that it's true! So now he's way more excited about reading and I really think he's gonna start progressing quickly now! I'm so excited for him!
