BAPTISM

Hey friends!

We had Leticias baptism this week and it was amazing! Definitely a little bit stressful, but baptisms always are. Basically why it was kinda crazy was because she lives in our area but is going to a different ward because it's closer and her kids are members there. So we had to work with the other ward mission leader a lot more because we didn't know any of the members so he was pretty much in charge of the program and we didn't really know what was going on. So we got to the baptism and everything was going good until he got up and said that the couple that was supposed to be giving the talks was going to be about 15 minutes late so we were like "oh noo!" But he called on two people to give their testimonies and then Elder Alvarenga just on the spot gave a talk about baptism and we went on haha. We are super grateful for him! Then we were going to give the missionary moment while they were changing, but our video wouldn't play. So we just pulled out a book of mormon object lesson And bore our testimonies because she ended up changing pretty fast anyways so it worked out. So it was a little crazy but in the end, she is baptized, confirmed, and really happy! I'm so grateful to have been able to be a part of this special experience with her!

We had a special training meeting with President and sister Wright this past week and we got to see the Vacaville zone missionaries because of it so that was really good time. I see president a lot less now that I am not in Santa Rosa so it is always so fun to get to see them!

Martha and Karla came to church this week! We were so happy! They are 14 and 16 and have only been in the US foe 2 years so they understand a bit of English because school is in English, but they don't speak it very well and are really shy so I think they were really nervous the whole time. They said they would come again though but it might take some convincing haha. We are planning on going to mutual with them this week though so that will be fun and hopefully they will start to make some friends!

That was about all for this week! Thank you all for your letters and prayers, they mean the world. I love you all so much!

love,
