HEY FRIENDS
Hey friends :)
first, happy birthday shoutout to my cute little sister, reagan!! i cant belive she is 11 today! Have the best day babe!
second, i am a little short on time so this will be quick but wanted to send a short update.
We have worked a lot with members this week and when lessons have fallen through or gotten pushed back, they have been so awesome about just going to visit different people or go contacting or tracting. it is super cool working with member because they are pretty bold anf fearless. i think it is because they assume if they mess up, the missionaries will just swoop in and fix everything haha. luckily they are awesome though and we dont have to worry about that!! Basically working with members is key so if you have the chance to go out with the missionaries, do it!!
We also got to go on exchanges with our STLs this week so i got to be an english sister for the day with Sister Triggs! She is awesome and it was so fun to work with her. We met a lady named Regina and she is a hebrew which was interesting to learn a little about. She was super open and told us her whole life story basically which included some kinda sketchy things but it was entertaining how she told it lol. She got really excited about her scripturers and they were all marked up and she was super excited to read the book of mormon and learn more. she is definitely on a serious spiritual journey and im excited for her!!
our bishop taught relief society yesterday and he is very bold and super gung-ho about members doing missionary work and bringing people home and i love it! You guys have no idea how influential you can be! Never be afraid to share what you believe in. Always remember that you can make a difference. The gospel is something to be excited about so if you have the opportunity, or even if you dont, share it!! you got this! you never know whose life you might change!
i love you all!! have a fantastic week!!
love,

scipture of the week: Matthew 5:14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
