SO MANY BLESSINGS

hi friends! hope you had a fantastic week!

this week started out a little slower but then ended amazing!! Sunday was such a crazy day with lots of miracles! Saturday we found and set up quite a few appointments for sunday and then ALL OF THEM (in the afternoon) fell through. BUT our ward mission leader came out to meet us and he was awesome! one of the lessons we were supposed to have fell through, but her 11 year old son was there and he was super interested in learning about jesus christ. so he called his mom and we set up a new appointment for tonight with both of them!

then our WML was running out of time so we decided to just do a contact or two and the first one was an all right contact and didnt go great. so as we were walking back, hermana leiva asked brother larson how he starts conversations with people so he spots some guys sitting under a tree and and says "i'll show you." about 10 minutes later we had 3 new investigators, a return appointment for tonight, a commitment to come to church the next week and he is starting english classes that they are interested in. it was so cool!!! I have really been gaining a testimony of working with members this transfer because when i am too afraid to be bold, they do it for me. yes i still need to learn to be bold too, but in the meantime, the members are such a blessing! I am so grateful for them!!

After dinner we got to go see a less active couple that the ward hadnt been able to get in contact with for a long time. we brough a couple of members with us and it was so crazy because turns out they knew and remembered each other from their ward in Vallejo 25 years ago!! it was so awesome!! they got along so well and the couple opened up so much to them. we barely even talked the whole time because they were just chatting away. i loved it!! then afterwards, the husband asked US about church and asked for the amados to come so he can follow them in his car to the church to learn how to get there. it was such a miracle!!

We also finally got to meet with Miriams family and her husband, Ruben, is really awesome! He used to study religion and has a lot of questions which is awesome! I am really excited to get to work with him this week. AND Karla and Martha (turns out her friends actually call her cecilia/cecy so i am trying to rewire my brain) came to church again!! and maricelas son, Angel (hes 7) wanted to come too and he loved primary! that was a HUGE miracle because cecy and karalas mom doesnt love the idea of them going to church so that means progress!

anyways sorry this was long but i just had such a great week and am so grateful to be seeing so many tender mercies in this, the Lords work. i love being a missionary!!! Have a wonderful week friends <3

love,
