GOOD PEOPLE, GOOD TIMES
Hi friends!
We had the BEST lesson with Rose and Eric yesterday!! When we got up to their house for dinner, the rest of the family was going out to the Lake so we just got to have dinner and talk with the two of them, which was great! We got to know them a lot more and then they just started asking questions about the Book of Mormon. We taught them about the gospel of Jesus Christ and when we got to baptism, followed up on if they had been praying about a baptismal date. They said they had been talking about it a lot and between the 4 of us, we decided on November 10th!! I'M SO EXCITED! Rosereally wants to be baptized and Eric really wants to repent and be ready and worthy to baptize her by that date. We also found a church where they could go to sacrament meeting after they drop of Rose's daughter on Sundays. We are just so happy to see them progressing and loving the gospel ❤❤
We set up a family search account with Maddie this week! She seems to be really excited to get into family history. We are hoping that helps her to want to go to the temple too because currently she sees going to the temple to do baptisms as a super long term goal. Like after college. She's 12, might I remind you 😂 we are hoping to help her push that up a little because we know it will bring so many blessings into her life!
I got to go on exchanges with Hermana Gardner this week and MAN I love that girl!! She is one of the funniest people I have ever met, so we were laughing the whole day. She really loves her mission which is so inspiring and I learned so many things from her. She's really great at following the spirit! We had a list of people who we were going to try to contact and we put them in order and went to go to the first, but accidentally went the wrong way. So we just ended up at a different person on the list and he wasn't there, but his girlfriend's daughter was and we got to talk to her. Her name was Andrea and she had recently been trying to build a connection with God and was really interested in talking to us. She had already seen so many blessings from trying to be close to God but she wanted help understanding the scriptures so they are going to go back this week and start working with her. She seems super awesome!
I love you all so much! Thank you for all your love and prayers! I hope you have an amazing week ❤
