MISSION LIFE IS THE BEST
Hi friends!!
It has been a crazy week! I got to go on exchanges with Hermana Draper, which was so much fun! We didn't have much success with the work thst day but we learned a TON from each other about more of the emotional side of missionary work. I was so grateful to see her strength and learn from the journey she's been on the last year. I think we both left that exchange with a strong desire to improve and commit ourselves more fully to our missions. I love her!
We then had zone conference and I loved it. I think the last zone conference was a little rough because it was the first with the new president and everybody was just trhing to figure out what was going on. But I think this one was tons better! I think President is starting to get the hang of things and the missionaries are starting to get to know him and understand him, too. So we are working together a lot better! I really felt like we could see how much he loves us and this mission and that really helped a lot of missionaries.
Sunday was stake conference and Elder Wild from the 70 was visiting. He talked to us for a while and that was fun! We had dinner up in Lake Berryessa again with the Wright family. Last week we had started teaching their less active son and his non member girlfriend. Their goal is to be married in the temple! We had a great lesson about the plan of salvation and rose is going to pray about a baptismal date. Its a little complicated because the mom really doesn't want to rush things but we think they could progress quicker than she wants to. But so far things are working out and they are really excited about learning. Eric even wants to be cleaned up enough to baptize her! They're awesome. Also, it's a bit of a windy drive up there, but the lake is beautiful!! So it's fun. The canyon drive reminds me of Utah a lot!
We have decided to do holiday themed p days so today we are celebrating christmas!! I'm sure I'll have pictures next week haha.
I love you all lots! Have a fabulous week ❤

Scripture of the week: Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
•if you live in California, you have to have a gang sign right?
