T8 LET'S GO

Hi friends!

I hope you've all had a fantastic week! As for me, it's been a little crazy but a really good start to the transfer.

Us and the two sisters we live with went down to Vallejo (sketchyville) on Wednesday to help with a young women's activity. There were 2 girls there whose parents are members and they are honestly super active already, but they haven't been baptized. For the activity we took them through a day in the life of a missionary. We each were paired up with one of the young women in a companionship and so we did a quick personal study and theno study and prepared to teach the restoration to one of the young woman leaders. I was with Megan, one of the girls who isn't baptized and we had the BEST time! She did so well at teaching and then testified of Joseph Smith and of prayers and afterwards started asking me what were the steps to be baptized! After about 6 years, she is really excited and ready to take the lessons and move towards baptism. Unfortunately, we aren't the missionaries teaching them, but I'm still super excited for her and her sister Carina, who also wants to be baptized!

I also got to go to my first MLC which is a meeting that all the zone leaders and sister training leaders go to. I really enjoyed getting to discuss how we can help our mission and the other missionaries and I loved getting to know president meservy more. I hadn't seen too much of him since he got here but it was really great to see some of the ideas he has to help our mission!

We also got a super great referral from one of our members yesterday. She invited us to dinner and then we had a lesson with her inactive son and his girlfriend. They want to learn more because they want to get married and he wants to get married in the temple!! We are so excited about them! They have a long way to go but are super excited to keep learning!

I hope you all have a wonderful week! Love you!

love,
