VIVA MEXICO

Hey friends!

It's been a busy busy first week of the transfer! On Wednesday, we had another lesson with Ariana (the 9 year old that we started teaching last week). It was so cool because when we taught her before, her attention span wasn't very long and she didn't seem to be retaining much. But this time, we read the intro to the children's book of mormon about where the book of mormon came from and it was perfect! We learned that she understands and remembers things well when she reads them and especially with the associated pictures. So we were able to teach her much easier and then when we had lunch afterwards she wanted us to quiz her by showing the pictures and asking what happened and she nailed it! She is so smart! It was so cool to figure out how she learns best and see how excited she is about learning at such at young age. We talked to her and her mom about baptism and set a date for octover 27th! We are so excited!!

I got to go to missionary leadership council in Santa Rosa on friday so that was super fun. i love getting to hear from president and see some of the other missionaries around the mission. We talked a lot about the importance of love in leadership. It was a great meeting!

This week was Mexican independence day and we got to go to a fiesta in Sonoma! They have lots of Mexican members in that ward and so it was super fun to hang out with them, speak spanish, and eat good food. I loved it!

Well it was a busy week, but a lot of it wasnt too exciting so that is all I got for you today. I love you all and am so grateful for all your letters and prayers! I hope you have a fantastic week!

 love,
