LIGHT THE WORLD
Hey friends!
This will be pretty short because, 1, I have very little time, and, 2, not much has happened since my pday last Thursday.
The biggest news is that my companion and I are both being transferred and pur area is being whitewashed. We were super surprised but we know it's for the best and that God has good plans for our people here. I am headed to Vacaville and I will be with Hermana Ferrell. I don't know her at all because this will only be her 3rd transfer and we have only met in passing. I'm excited to get to know her though! I'm really sad to be leaving Napa but I'm excited to see what awaits me in Vacaville!
Last Saturday, Light the World officially started and kicked off with the Worldwide day of service! We helped some members of our zone out and did a free carwash down in Vallejo. The cool thing was that it was at the church and we got to give chapel tours while the cars were being washed. Then that night we went up to Calistoga to help the sisters there pass out candy canes and invitations to sacrament meeting on the 23rd after a Christmas Tractor Parade. That was super fun too! It was a good day and we've got some more ideas that I hope to implement in Vacaville. What are you doing to Light the World?
